The Homeless of Corpus Christi Need Your Help

Corpus Christi has thousands of homeless individuals living on the streets. Our intention is to open a "home for the homeless" where all are welcome. By sheltering these individuals, the streets will become free of wandering individuals with no place to rest their head, they can stay warm and out of the weather, and they can begin to get their lives back on track and once again feel self-worth. By housing these individuals, the police will be freed up to take care of more important matters in our city.

There are several shelters currently open in the city. However, they only have 700 beds available. That leaves the remaining thousands to find other shelter in wooded areas, under bridges, in boxes, and behind buildings. It's about time we help these individuals have a place to go. We need to care for our "own" in this city.
