We have recently purchased a building at 1520 Mestina St. here in Corpus Christi. This building will serve 60 - 75 homeless individuals. We will offer beds, showers, laundry facilities, and meals. In addition, we will provide contact information for those homeless individuals wanting assistance from various local and state organizations, as well as MHMR and The Texas Workforce Commission. Information through our network of various alcohol, drug, and medical facilities for treatment will also be available. Some individuals will have the opportunity to work around the premises.

At the present time the building is being renovated. We are in dire need of material and labor donations, as well as funding to cover the expense of renovations. The building, when completed, will include 13 dorms, 6 restrooms, a central kitchen and dining room, and a back yard with tables and chairs for socialization. The house director will live on site.
